Comparison between the trailer and the opening.
The genre in the trailer comes across to the audience as being an action, thriller but from the opening you don't get the thriller you get spy instead. This could be so that the audience gets pulled in by the trailer thinking that its a thriller.
The narrative from the trailer tells you this its all about gambling, love, fighting, criminals and spy's where as in the opening you only really find out that its about gambling this is because the trailer tells the audience information about the majority of the film and the opening only wants to tell you the overall theme of the film to keep the audience interested.
The atmosphere and themes tell the audience how to feel through out the film by it giving the atmosphere of suspense and tension and themes of love and spying. In the opening the suspense is still there but mystery has also been added again to keep the audience interested.
During the trailer we see all the settings in the film which gives so much away about the film but in the opening we just see a casino.
Finally the title of the film is revealed at the end of the trailer but pretty much at the beginning of the opening. The trailer only gives the main box office actors names compared with the opening which gives the same but includes other titles and names of the institutions, director and other actors which are added after.
